[Hiiro hadn't been in the town halls for a while. It isn't that he doesn't see the benefit of them, and had he had more to contribute, he would have gone. However, with recent events being what they are, Hiiro had retreated from everyone. Only those in the same house really see him, since Hiiro wanted to avoid all the questions. It wasn't just Rinne, but also Niki, who was gone. He hadn't seen Eula lately, and he's afraid of the words she once uttered being true. When he thinks of it, it makes him anxious and restless, angry and hateful, nothing like how he normally is.
He hates that Maggie got away. He doesn't know how to deal with things.
Still, being inside drove him crazy too. He was, by nature, more outgoing and sociable. He hated being cooped up inside like he was in a zashiki, even though it was voluntary. It's how he ends up outside, dodging people quietly, trying to find a quiet spot to hide in when he crashes into Deuce in his haste.]
[Deuce doesn't know what to do with himself lately. Since the monsters attacked, everything seemed different. Felt different somehow, though Deuce can't say why.
Is it fear? A little bit. Deuce can admit that much.
But more than anything, he can't help but feel tired, because now he knows it might happen again. If not exactly in this form then in another. Something worse, something far more dangerous. And Deuce might not survive.
