You're right that he'd usually trick you. I'm glad he didn't though. I can only imagine what might have happened then. We might have been having this conversation as your "one allowed" phone call.
Vil-san is definitely strict, but at least some of what he says makes sense. I've only heard a few of them but the Queen of Hearts seems like she set a lot of rules that don't make any sense at all.
